Though Yerevan remains formally tied to the Russia-led Eurasian Economic Union, it has publicly declared its ambition to pursue EU membership and has suspended its participation in the Moscow-led Collective Security Treaty Organization — a move that signals a clear and deliberate pivot away from Russian influence.
